Inside a Banana Republic

My Banana republic Outfit

No, I'm not talking about behind the scenes of a Honduras government as so coined by American author O Henry. Rather I am talking about one of the most fashion forward clothing company's to hit the runway. Most of my outfits for my Big Brazilian vacation are from the Banana summer '08 collection. They are known for blending safari design with the upscale modern touch that I love. My favorite Banana Republic outfit is the one I am wearing on the plane to Brazil. It is an amazing sand colored linen safari shirt with white pin stripes, complemented by a deep blue knit tie. All this on top of similarly sandy colored linen chinos, belt, & boots. It's important to opt for a more dressed up look when flying. Try it out the next time you travel, it might even score you an upgrade.

2 week countdown

Hello Everyone,

Monday starts the two week countdown so I thought it was about time to get this Blog started.

I am Very Busy running around trying to get everything done before I leave. There is so much to do when leaving the country for such an extended trip abroad. Already I have started packing my luggage, which for me early packing is essential, so I don't forget anything. The notes section of my Iphone is filled with reminders and confirmation numbers. I feel it's better to take care of all the small details now, so later I can sit back and relax with confidence. There is still a lot of time before I go, so I'm sure I can get everything done.

This promises to be an amazing trip and I hope to share this experience with all of you. Feel free to contact me with any questions and/or comments. you can subscribe to my twitter by using the link on the top right hand side of this page, or just leave a comment. I'll reply to you as soon as I can.
